Responsible use
Erazely helps you remove visible marks — watermarks, logos, text, date stamps and objects — from images. It’s built for legitimate cleanup: your own photos, your product images, screenshots you made, archived personal pictures and assets you’re authorized to work on.
The short version
Only remove marks from images you own or have permission to edit.
Good uses
- Removing date stamps or stray marks from your own photos
- Cleaning stickers, tags or clutter from your product photography
- Removing your own watermark from an original you’ve lost
- Cleaning temporary annotations from screenshots you created
- Editing client assets you’re contracted to work on
Not what Erazely is for
- Getting around stock-photo licensing or paid previews
- Removing a photographer’s or creator’s attribution from their work
- Removing copyright notices or ownership indicators from images you don’t own
- Creating images intended to mislead about their origin or ownership
Removing copyright notices or other ownership indicators from someone else’s work may violate their rights or the applicable licensing terms. If you need a clean version of a licensed image, license it from its owner.
Visible marks vs. provenance
Erazely removes visible marks. It does not remove invisible provenance systems or metadata-based ownership information, and it isn’t designed to. These are a different category of technology.
